Why I chose to start a private practice
In a private practice, sessions can be tailored to your needs without being restricted by standardized frameworks or unnecessary time pressure.
I believe many people benefit from seeking help before their challenges become overwhelming. Not everyone who visits a psychologist is severely ill. Often, it is a matter of people who are navigating demanding life situations, experiencing prolonged stress, uncertainty, or anxiety, or who simply want support to understand themselves better and create lasting changes.
My goal is to offer a safe, warm, and professional space where you can lower your shoulders, be met with respect and understanding, and receive support to find balance, coping strategies, and a way forward—at your own pace.
About Me
I am a licensed psychologist holding a master’s degree in clinical and health psychology from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. Following my graduation, I completed an internship at a Community Mental Health Center (DPS) while continuing my professional specialization and further education/courses in mental health and psychological counseling.
For the past six years, I have worked as a licensed psychologist, meeting people in various life situations and facing different challenges. I have experience treating and supporting individuals struggling with stress, burnout, anxiety, grief, relational difficulties, and periods when life feels demanding or overwhelming.
Through counseling sessions, I have seen how an increased understanding of one's own thoughts, emotions, and reaction patterns can contribute to better coping strategies, greater security, and more inner peace. My most important task is to meet you with respect, curiosity, and professional competence—and together find a way forward that works for you.
I also have personal experience working in high-pace environments with significant responsibility and sustained pressure. This has given me a valuable insight into how prolonged stress can impact mental health, motivation, and quality of life. As a result, I am particularly committed to helping people who feel that daily demands have become heavier than they can carry alone. At the same time, I am equally interested in working with individuals seeking personal development who are in need of small adjustments to their daily routine and deeper insight into their own behavioral patterns.
